If you are experiencing issues accessing our website, it’s because we have been under attack for the last 10 hours or so. There’s a huge amount of traffic coming exclusively from Indian IPs, belonging to Reliance Jio and Airtel telecoms.

We are under attack from the networks of Jio and Airtel in India

Roughly 100,000 new IPs are used to attack our server every hour and unfortunately, Reliance Jio and Airtel ignore our requests to resolve the issue at this moment, so our only option is to ban a good portion of the 35 million IPs in India. Otherwise, our servers won’t handle the traffic, and the website will be offline for everyone in the world.

So if you are having trouble accessing GSMArena.com and you are situated in India, we recommend using a VPN. We are working on resolving the issue and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Apple to reinstates Epic Games’ developer account after an EU order hackart

[ad_1]

Shortly after Apple terminated Epic Games’ developer account, the EU Commission launched a probe against the Cupertino-based company to see if there’s any violation of the Digital Markets Act (DMA). And a swift decision followed.

In an X post, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney said that Apple will be reinstating the European developer account after the EU Commission enforced the DMA. The X post even suggests that the EU’s decision paves the way for an Epic Games Store on iOS in Europe.

The DMA went through its first major challenge with Apple banning Epic Games Sweden from competing with the…

iQOO Neo9 Racing Edition coming soon, specs leak hackart

0

iQOO’s Neo9 family so far has been made up of the eponymous Neo9 as well as the Neo9 Pro, but now it looks like a third member is on the way. According to prolific and usually reliable Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, vivo’s sub-brand is working on a new Neo9, which could be called Neo9 Racing Edition.

It will have a 6.78-inch 1260×2800 flat touchscreen with 144 Hz refresh rate and 2160 Hz pulse width modulation. The camera system will have a 50 MP main shooter and overall is described as “a relatively balanced mid-range camera”. So, in other words, don’t expect flagship-level camera performance.

Interestingly, the Racing Edition is said to sport the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, and as such might be among the first smartphones to get this new SoC. This will be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will also get 120W fast charging support. It’s expected to become official in China next month, so stay tuned for that.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro leaks hackart

0

[ad_1]

Motorola is working on its next high-end smartphone, the Edge 50 Pro, and a bunch of images depicting it have been leaked today along with some details. Let’s dive right in.

As in previous years, expect the same phone to be sold under not one, not two, but three different names in different markets – it will likely be called Motorola X50 Ultra in China, and Motorola Edge+ (2024) in the US, with the name Motorola Edge 50 Pro being used everywhere else.

The handset will come in purple, black, and a silver/white/stone color. The purple and black iterations might have faux leather backs. The Edge 50 Pro’s triple rear camera setup includes a 50 MP f/1.4 main sensor, a 13mm ultrawide, and a 73mm telephoto which is probably going to be marketed as 3x optical zoom.

The Edge 50 Pro will stick with a curved-sides display, 6.7″ in size and coming with a 165 Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will unsurprisingly run the show, paired with 12GB of RAM. The phone will allegedly ship with a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 125W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Interestingly, the leaked renders show the date of April 3, thus that may or may not be the date of its official announcement. The X50 Ultra could very well be the first of the identical triplets to become official, since Motorola has already started teasing it in China.

Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra leaks again, this time with pricing hackart

0

[ad_1]

Asus is announcing the Zenfone 11 Ultra on March 14. The next mainstream flagship device from the Taiwanese company has already been extensively leaked at the beginning of February, and today we have a new leak about it.

There are some more official-looking images to gawk at, but perhaps the most important new thing here is pricing information.

Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra leaks again, this time with pricing

The leak comes from a Czech store, and so the prices are for that market, in Czech Crowns. The 11 Ultra with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will be priced at CZK 24,990 ($1,078 or €986 at the current exchange rates) and the model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will go for CZK 26,490 ($1,143 or €1,045). However, these are promo launch prices, only valid from the announcement date of March 14 until April 14. After that, the cheaper model is scheduled to go up by CZK 1,000 ($43 or €39) and the top of the line version by CZK 2,500 ($107 or €98).

Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra leaks again, this time with pricing

This new leak reiterates a lot of the already leaked specs. The Zenfone 11 Ultra will have a 6.78-inch 144 Hz LTPO AMOLED display, a 50 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultrawide, and a 32 MP telephoto camera on the rear, with Asus’ 6-axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 3.0. The phone will of course be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and it will have a 5,500 mAh battery with wireless charging support. It will become available in two colorways: blue and black.

X introduces long-form Articles for Premium+ subscribers hackart

0

[ad_1]

If you’ve always wanted to create long(er) form content on X (formerly Twitter), well, now you can. We’re not sure why you’d want to do that on a platform like this that can take it down whenever it wants to (or gets bored with the feature it’s just introduced), but to each their own. Perhaps this is meant to take on Substack?

Anyway, the news is this. X now lets you create “Articles”, aka long(er) form content on its platform. The catch? You need to be a Premium+ subscriber. That means paying X $16 per month or $168 per year. Alternatively, you need to be part of a Verified Organization.

If you are one of those people, then you can start composing articles by selecting “Article” in the sidebar. You get bold, italic, and strikethrough text formatting options, as well as bullet points and numbered lists. And you can also embed images and videos “to enhance your storytelling and add visual interest to your Articles”.

There will be a new Articles tab on your profile and your Articles will appear in your followers’ timeline just like regular X posts. Articles will be uniquely distinguishable because they have a unique icon and layout, in order for your long-form content to stand out. And yet, embedding an article results in what you see above – only a link to it. That’s rather unfortunate, isn’t it?
