Nothing Phone (2) Set to Launch in British Summer: What We Know So Far

So, Last year, Nothing made headlines when it launched its first smartphone, the Phone (1). Since then, the company’s founder Carl Pei has confirmed that a second phone, the Nothing Phone (2), will be released later this year. Now, the company has confirmed that the phone will launch during the British summer, which runs from June to August.

The teaser video released by Nothing features a blinking red light, suggesting that the phone may have a new rear design. However, it is still expected to feature a transparent back, which was a standout feature of the Nothing Phone (1).

During the Mobile World Congress 2023, Carl Pei confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Series chipset, but did not reveal the exact model number. However, a Qualcomm executive accidentally revealed that it will most likely be the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

In a recent interview, Carl Pei shared that the Nothing Phone (2) will be launched in the United States for the first time. He also mentioned that the phone will be “more premium” than its predecessor, with a primary focus on software. Nothing now has a team of almost 100 people working on software development, aiming to bring the best possible experience to both new and existing phones.

As we wait for more details about the Nothing Phone (2) to emerge, it’s clear that the company is doubling down on its commitment to creating high-quality smartphones that prioritize software innovation. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting new release!
