OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is preparing for the release of its OnePlus Nord Buds 2r in the Indian market. These highly anticipated wireless earbuds are likely to debut alongside the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone. Recently, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r were spotted in Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, and now MySmartPrice has obtained an exclusive image of the retail box, unveiling the design of the upcoming TWS earbuds.
Design Revealed of OnePlus Nord Buds 2r:
The leaked image reveals that the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r will feature small silicone earplugs and microphones, positioned similarly to the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. The design of the Nord Buds 2r is expected to resemble that of its predecessor. Touch interaction for call and music controls, similar to the Nord Buds 2, can also be anticipated. However, specific details regarding other key specifications of the Nord Buds 2r are currently unknown.
Renowned tipster Mukul Sharma recently spotted the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r on the OnePlus India website. Although no specifications were disclosed in the listing, it is speculated that the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r will serve as a more affordable variant of the previously released OnePlus Nord Buds 2. OnePlus has yet to announce the launch date for both the OnePlus Nord 2r and the OnePlus Nord 3 in the Indian market.

To recall, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 offers a 12.4mm Titanium driver and supports Bluetooth v5.3. These in-ear TWS earbuds come with interchangeable ear tips, an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, and support for OnePlus Fast Pair. Additionally, the Buds 2 feature 25dB active noise cancellation, dual microphones, touch controls for calls and music, and a low latency of 94ms. Notably, the Buds 2 also support Dolby Atmos and are compatible with the HeyMelody app.
Each OnePlus Nord Buds 2 earbud packs a 41mAh battery, while the case is equipped with a 480mAh battery. With ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) turned off, the Buds 2 provide up to 7 hours of battery life, while with ANC enabled, the earbuds offer 5 hours of playback time. These earbuds are priced at Rs 2,999 in India and are available in Lightning White and Thunder Grey color options.
