Samsung Galaxy M34 5G Receives FCC Certification, Hinting at Global Launch


So, Samsung Galaxy M34 5G, the much-awaited smartphone from Samsung, is getting ready for its launch in India. The phone has been generating excitement ever since it was teased last month. And, is expected to hit the Indian markets soon. The good news is that the phone has now received certification from the FCC, which means it will also be available in the global market.

According to the FCC certification, the Galaxy M34 5G has been assigned the model number SM-M346B/DS. The certification confirms that the phone will support 5G connectivity, as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac. Additionally, it reveals that the Galaxy M34 5G will come with a charger called EP-TA800, which supports fast charging at 25W. However, the certification doesn’t provide any further details about the phone.

Samsung Galaxy M34 5G Rumoured Specifications

There have been rumors about the specifications of the Galaxy M34 5G. It is said that the phone will be similar to the Galaxy A34 5G but will have a larger battery of 6,000mAh. If this is true, it will be a significant upgrade compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy M33 5G.

Leaked information suggests that the Galaxy M34 5G will feature a 6.6-inch sAMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The front camera is expected to be housed in a notch at the top of the screen. In terms of the rear camera setup, the phone is rumored to have a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro sensor. For taking selfies, there will likely be a 13MP front camera.

Under the hood, the Galaxy M34 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, which might be called the Dimensity 7050 SoC. The phone is likely to come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will have a 6000mAh battery for long-lasting usage and support for 25W fast charging. The phone will also come with the latest Android 13 update and Samsung’s user-friendly One UI 5.1 interface.

Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy M34 will have a better display and a more powerful processor. The price of the phone is still unknown, and it remains to be seen whether it will be priced below or above ₹20,000 (~$244).
