Realme’s DIZO India CEO Abhilash Panda resigns after successful tenure

Abhilash Panda, the CEO of DIZO, Realme’s tech lifestyle brand, has stepped down from his position as the India CEO. After a successful two-year tenure at the company, Panda has decided to explore other opportunities.

In an official statement, Panda expressed his gratitude, stating, “As I step down as the CEO, DIZO India. I will always remain a proud member of the DIZO Squad. Life is an expedition, and I now know what I want to explore.”

DIZO, which was launched during the Covid-19 pandemic. Experienced remarkable success with its first two products, DIZO GoPods D and DIZO Wireless, instantly capturing the market.

Panda shared his journey, saying, “From WFH (work from home) to a cozy office, and the team expanding, from a tiny IoT (internet of things) brand to a top 4 smartwatch brand and an emerging TWS (truly wireless stereo) brand, it was no less than seeing a dream getting fulfilled.”

Prior to joining DIZO India, Panda held the position of Director for Mobile Phones at Flipkart, a well-known Indian e-commerce marketplace.

As the CEO and spokesperson of DIZO, Panda had big esponsibilities, overseeing sales, marketing, Research & Development (R&D), supply chain, human resources, and other operational areas. He also played a crucial role in all official brand announcements. Moreover, he was gave responsibility with positioning DIZO among the top brands in the Artificial Internet of Things (AIoT) products category.

Panda’s decision to step down marks a new chapter for both him and DIZO India. The company will now embark on a search for a new CEO to lead them into their future efforts.
