iPhone 15 Pro Max Will Be Reportedly Expensive
So, Industry insiders believe that enhanced features and a periscope lens might be the reasons behind the higher cost. Rumors suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have an amazing periscope lens, which is a big improvement over the zoom capability of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This lens will allow users to take better photos with 5x to 6x optical zoom.
A periscope lens works by using a primary lens to capture the image. Then, an angled mirror or prism reflects the light towards a secondary lens that sends it to the image sensor. This design requires more space inside the smartphone, which could contribute to the increased price.
Pu expects mass production of the iPhone 15 series to start in August, following Apple’s usual schedule. This suggests that the iPhone 15 lineup will be officially announced in September. Pu also predicts that Apple plans to manufacture around 84 million units of the iPhone 15 series in the second half of 2023, with the Pro models being the most popular at the initial release.
