In recent developments, the device has been spotted on the popular benchmarking platform, Geekbench, revealing key details about its performance and hardware.

Geekbench, a reliable source for benchmarking results, now features the Nothing Phone (2) listed with the model number A065. The listing provides valuable insights into the phone’s specifications, including the presence of a motherboard codenamed ‘taro’ housing a total of eight cores. Among these cores, three are clocked at 2.5GHz, four at 1.8GHz, and one prime core at 3.0GHz. These specifications align with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, consistent with a previous report that unintentionally disclosed the chipset by a Qualcomm executive. Additionally, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Nothing Phone (2) is equipped with an impressive 12GB of RAM and will come with Android 13 pre-installed.

In the Geekbench tests, the Nothing Phone (2) showcased excellent performance, achieving a single-core score of 1,253 points and a multi-core score of 3,833 points. These results indicate the phone’s ability to handle resource-intensive tasks with ease, ensuring a smooth user experience.
