Nothing, the renowned tech company, has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Nothing Phone (2) later this summer. Serving as the successor to the Nothing Phone (1) released last year, the Phone (2) is expected to be a premium smartphone boasting powerful specifications. In recent developments, the device has been spotted on the popular benchmarking platform, Geekbench, revealing key details about its performance and hardware.
Nothing Phone (2) Makes an Appearance on Geekbench
Geekbench, a reliable source for benchmarking results, now features the Nothing Phone (2) listed with the model number A065. The listing provides valuable insights into the phone’s specifications, including the presence of a motherboard codenamed ‘taro’ housing a total of eight cores. Among these cores, three are clocked at 2.5GHz, four at 1.8GHz, and one prime core at 3.0GHz. These specifications align with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, consistent with a previous report that unintentionally disclosed the chipset by a Qualcomm executive. Additionally, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Nothing Phone (2) is equipped with an impressive 12GB of RAM and will come with Android 13 pre-installed.
