OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G: Snapdragon 782G SoC, Aqua Surge Color Teased

OnePlus is set to launch two new smartphones in India, the Nord 3 and Nord CE 3 5G, on July 5. The Nord CE 3 5G will be the more affordable option, priced at around Rs. 25,000. OnePlus has started teasing the features of the Nord CE 3 5G ahead of its launch. It will be the first smartphone in India to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC processor.

The Nord CE 3 5G will have a 6nm Snapdragon 782G SoC, which offers 5% better CPU performance than the Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. The processor has a peak clock speed of 2.7GHz and is paired with an Adreno 642L GPU.

The phone will come in an Aqua Surge color option and will have a sleek design with a slightly curved rear panel. It will feature a triple-camera setup. With the top cutout housing one sensor and the second cutout housing the other two sensors. An LED flash module will be placed next to the camera sensors.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G Specifications

The Nord CE 3 5G is expected to have a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 950 nits. The main camera will be a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization. There will also be an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The rear camera will support 4K 30fps video recording.

Under the hood, the Nord CE 3 5G will offer up to 12GB of RAM and features like RAM-vita, HyperTouch, and HyperBoost for improved performance. It will have a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

Additional features of the phone include an IR blaster, X-axis linear motor, and dual speakers. It will be available in Aqua Surge and Grey Shimmer colors. The Nord CE 3 5G will come with Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1 out of the box and will receive two major Android updates and three years of security updates.
