Oppo Pad 2 Unveiled with Dimensity 9000 & 512GB Storage: Upgrade or Disappointment?

Oppo is set to launch its new flagship series, the Find X6, along with its second-generation tablet, the Oppo Pad 2. There have been rumors circulating about the new tablet, with Geekbench scores initially indicating that it would have a Snapdragon 888 chipset. However, Oppo has surprised everyone by revealing that the Oppo Pad 2 will actually use the MediaTek chip, the Dimensity 9000.

A teaser image released by Oppo shows that the tablet will come with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. While this is likely to be the maximum capacity, it is still significantly higher than what was offered in Oppo’s first-gen tablets.

Compared to the original Oppo Pad and the Pad Air, which were powered by Snapdragon 870 and 680, respectively, the Dimensity 9000 is a more modern and powerful option. While it may not be the latest flagship offering from MediaTek, it is still a notable upgrade from the Snapdragon 888.

The Oppo Pad 2 is set to be unveiled tomorrow in China, along with the Find X6 flagship series. With the Dimensity 9000 and up to 512GB of storage, it is sure to be an exciting addition to Oppo’s productl ineup.
