Samsung Galaxy S23 FE With Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC: Leaks

So, as you know, Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S23 FE. The device has been the subject of leaks and rumors, and it has already received certifications, including 3C and a battery certification from South Korea. Recently, the Galaxy S23 FE appeared on the benchmarking platform Geekbench also.

The Geekbench listing provided some interesting information about the phone. It was initially identified with the model number SM-S711B but has now been listed with the model number SM-S711U1, indicating the existence of US and global variants. The phone features a motherboard codenamed “taro” and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

Also, it has four cores clocked at 1.79GHz, three cores at 2.50GHz, and one core at 3GHz. The Galaxy S23 FE also includes an Adreno 730 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and runs on the Android 13 operating system. In Geekbench tests, it scored 1,549 in the single-core test and 3,718 in the multi-core test.

The release date and availability of the Galaxy S23 FE are still unknown, but it is expected to launch in select markets. Previous reports indicated that one model, the SM-S711B, will be powered by the Exynos 2200 processor. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will offer different processor options for the S23 FE based on the region.
