Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Exynos 2200 Processor, 50mp Camera – Launch is Near

So, samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone later this year, as tweeted by @Tech_Reve. The device will feature Samsung’s powerful Exynos 2200 processor, without a Qualcomm Snapdragon version.

And, to cut costs and maintain profitability, Samsung chose the Exynos 2200 processor over Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. However, this decision may affect sales due to the Galaxy S22 series’ underperformance.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Leaked Specs

So, according to leaks from @Tech_Reve, the Galaxy S23 FE will offer 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, operating at a speedy 6.4 Gbps. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB with UFS 3.1 technology.

As for the camera, rumors suggest a 12-megapixel front sensor with 1.12um pixel size. The main camera is said to have an impressive 50-megapixel sensor with 1.0um (GN3) pixel size. It will also include an 8-megapixel 3x telephoto lens with 1.0um (Hi-347) pixel size and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 1.12um (IMX258) pixel size.

Reports indicate that firmware testing has started for the European version of the Galaxy S23 FE with model number SM-S711B. However, no firmware has been seen for the US and South Korean variants.

The launch of the device is expected in early 2024, following rumored releases of flagship devices like the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 by the end of July.
