The event will mark the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, a clamshell-style foldable phone that boasts significant design upgrades.

An exclusive render obtained by MySmartPrice reveals the key design changes in the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The render shows that the phone now features a larger cover display that spans almost half of the rear panel when unfolded. This is a substantial increase compared to previous Z Flip models, which had smaller displays. The new cover display is expected to be around 3.4 inches in size.
Unlike other foldable phones, such as the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s cover display does not have cutouts for the rear camera and LED flash. Instead, Samsung has slightly arched the display to make room for a dual-camera setup. This change in design also required repositioning the camera sensors and LED flash horizontally next to each other.
The render also demonstrates some practical uses for the larger cover display. Users can use it as a viewfinder to capture high-quality photos with the rear camera.
