The company’s flagship device will come with Nothing OS 2.0, a new user interface based on Android 13. This is a significant release for Nothing, as they have put a lot of effort into developing it, with a team of about 100 people working on it. Currently, the Nothing Phone (1) uses Nothing OS 1.5.

Carl Pei thinks that software support is very important, and we hope that Nothing will keep that in mind when they update both the Nothing Phone (1) and (2) to Android 14. With Android 13, Nothing was not the fastest at delivering updates to the Nothing Phone (1).

We already know some details about the Nothing Phone (2). It will have a powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a large 6.7″ screen, and a long-lasting 4,700 mAh battery. It will also receive three years of Android updates and four years of security patches from its launch date.
