OnePlus to Launch First Foldable Phone in August | Hackart

So, Foldable phones are becoming popular, and now OnePlus is joining the trend. Rumors suggest that OnePlus will release its first foldable device in August. It is said to be called OnePlus Fold.

According to Pricebaba, the launch event will take place in New York during the first half of August. After that, the phone will be available globally, including in India. Oppo, OnePlus’ parent company, may also introduce a foldable device called the Find N3 in China around the same time. Outside of China, it will likely be marketed as the OnePlus’ Fold.

And, the OnePlus’s Fold is expected to have an 8-inch QHD+ OLED main screen and a 6.5-inch cover OLED panel with FHD+ resolution. Also, the display will offer a smooth experience with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor also, along with Adreno GPU graphics. It is rumored to have 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage for excellent performance.

The device will run on OxygenOS 13.1, which is OnePlus’ custom skin based on Android 13. It will have a 4,800mAh battery with 80-watt fast charging support.

The OnePlus Fold will feature a triple camera setup on the rear. It is expected to include a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP periscope camera. For selfies, there will be a 32MP front-facing camera.
