So, OnePlus 12R, the eagerly awaited smartphone, has been making headlines lately with leaked renders and key specs. Noted tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (also known as Onleaks) shared the images of the upcoming device. It is set to succeed the OnePlus 11R, which was released earlier this year in February.

So, the leaked renders reveal some exciting features of the OnePlus 12R. The phone will sport a slightly curved display and a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. The slim bezels surrounding the screen enhance its aesthetics. The design remains consistent with its predecessor, the OnePlus 11R, with a glossy finish and a half-pill-shaped rear island housing a circular module containing three sensors and an LED flash.
Moving on to the sides, the OnePlus 12R will have a power button and alert slider on the right edge, while the volume rocker keys will be placed on the left side. At the bottom, there will be a USB-C port, a microphone cutout, and a speaker grille. The device will be available in a stylish White color option.
Regarding the specifications, the OnePlus 12R will run on a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, ensuring smooth performance. It will come with up to 16GB RAM and a spacious 256GB storage option. The phone will also feature a substantial 5,500mAh battery, offering support for 100W fast charging.
Also, the display of the OnePlus 12R is expected to impress with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen boasting a 1.5K resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate. Camera enthusiasts will be delighted with the upgrades, as the phone is rumored to have a 32MP telephoto unit, a 50MP primary sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
As for the release timeline, Onleaks suggests that the OnePlus 12R 5G model will make its debut in China in January 2024, with a potential launch in India at a later date.
