BGIS 2023: India’s Biggest Esports Tournament with Rs. 2 Crore Prize Pool Announced

So, KRAFTON has announced BGIS 2023, India’s biggest Esports tournament with a Rs. 2 crore prize pool. It will be a Battle Royale competition and have a LAN event finale, a first for BGIS. Many teams will compete for the prize money, and the Grand Finals will be broadcast in 10 languages, making it inclusive for gamers all over India.

The tournament starts on July 20th with “The Grind” and ends with the Offline Grand Finals on October 14th. It has two phases: Online qualifiers and Offline Grand Finals. 256 invited teams will compete in “The Grind” to get to Round 2 and Round 3. The top 64 teams will proceed to the main event, which you can watch on KRAFTON INDIA ESPORTS YouTube channel starting July 20th at 12 pm IST.

Registrations happen between July 24th and August 2nd, with verifications from August 3rd to August 9th. In-game qualifiers are from August 10th to August 17th, and the top 2048 teams will qualify for Round 1.

The tournament continues with Round 1 to Round 6, where teams fight for a place in the BGIS Grand Finals. The Offline Grand Finals will be on October 12th to 14th.
