A new product with the model number D395, believed to be associated with Nothing, has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The listing has categorized this mysterious product under smartwatches, which has led to speculation about Nothing’s potential entry into the smartwatch market. Currently, the company focuses on smartphones and true wireless stereo (TWS) devices.
A well-known tipster, Mukul Sharma, discovered the listing on the BIS certification website and shared screenshots on Twitter. Although the listing doesn’t provide any details about the product, it has already generated excitement among tech enthusiasts. This development coincides with Carl Pei’s previous comments about his impression of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which he found underwhelming.
When asked about Nothing’s plans for smartwatches, Carl Pei simply replied, “Learning about the category.” However, this statement was made several months ago, and no further information has been shared since then. Tech enthusiasts eagerly await official updates from Nothing, while the company continues to make headlines with another significant release.
The upcoming Nothing Phone (2) is expected to be a major upgrade from its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (1). Nothing has chosen the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, elevating the phone’s performance compared to the mid-range Snapdragon 7 series processor used in the previous model.
