Nothing Phone (2) Confirms 4700mAh Battery and July Launch

So, In an exclusive Forbes interview, Carl Pei, founder of Nothing, shared exciting details about the upcoming Nothing Phone (2). Now, Carl Pei confirmed that the highly anticipated smartphone will have a powerful 4700mAh battery, bigger than the 4500mAh battery in the Nothing Phone (1).

Users can expect wireless charging support, a feature introduced with the Phone (1). Carl Pei mentioned selling around 750,000 units of the Phone (1) and continuing its availability.

Pei explained choosing the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 over the new 8 Gen 2 for the Phone (2) was due to its optimized performance and updates. User experience takes priority over being first in specs. Cost was also a consideration.

Camera specifications remain unknown. Benchmark listings revealed 12GB RAM and Android 13. The phone is rumored to feature an FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and up to 256GB storage. It will likely come in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models, similar to the Phone (1).

So, The Nothing Phone (2) is set to launch in July 2023, coinciding with last year’s release of the Phone (1). The company plans to expand to the U.S. market and other countries. Indian consumers can purchase the Phone (2) from Flipkart, alongside the Phone (1) and earbuds.
