Apple has launched its latest addition to the TWS earbuds market with the Beats Studio Buds+. This remarkable successor to the original Beats Studio Buds, which made its debut in 2021, brings forth a host of impressive improvements, including an enhanced fit, upgraded Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency mode, improved microphones, extended battery life, and more.
One of the standout features of the Beats Studio Buds+ is its transparent design. However, it’s important to note that these differ from Nothing’s Ear series buds, which boast a distinct clear design. Additionally, the Beats’ Studio Buds+ now offer an extra-small eartip option, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit for users.
Apple claims that approximately 95% of the internal components in the Beats Studio Buds+ are brand-new. This includes the implementation of 3x larger upgraded voice-targeting microphones, resulting in exceptional call quality. Furthermore, these earbuds retain their IPX4 sweat and water-resistant ratings, making them suitable for active individuals.
Switching between Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Transparency mode is now easier than ever with a simple button press. The Beats Studio Buds+ boasts a 1.6x improvement in ANC and a 2x enhancement in Transparency mode compared to its predecessor, thanks to advancements in ANC processing and a redesigned vent system. Although it supports Spatial Audio for Dolby Atmos on Apple Music, it should be noted that head-tracking, present in the Beats Fit Pro and certain AirPods models, is absent from these earbuds.
Utilizing the “Beats Proprietary Platform,” the Beats’ Studio Buds+ offer convenient features like “Hey Siri” and Find My, ensuring effortless voice control and easy tracking of your earbuds. Moreover, these earbuds support Google Fast Pair and Audio Switch, allowing smooth transitions between your Android, Chromebook, and other compatible devices. Google Find My Device is also supported, further enhancing the user experience.
With the Beats Studio Buds+, you can enjoy an impressive total battery life of up to 36 hours (9 hours from the earbuds + 27 hours from the charging case) when ANC is turned off. In comparison, the previous Studio Buds offered 24 hours of total battery life. Additionally, the fast charging capability provides 1 hour of battery life with just 5 minutes of charging. However, it’s worth noting that wireless charging is not supported by these earbuds.

The Beats Studio Buds+ are available in Black/Gold, Ivory, and Transparent models. Priced at $169.99 (approximately Rs. 14,010), these earbuds have already hit the market in the United States, offering an exceptional listening experience to music enthusiasts.
